The Most Powerful Beings in the Universe

November 16, 2010

Apparently, the most powerful beings in the universe are SPs.

And that’s not me saying it, that’s what the Church says.

Apparently, according to the Church, one word from these super-beings, or even a look, can cause even high-level OTs to lose their gains, get ill or even commit suicide. Apparently the mere presence of one of these beings can turn even experienced, veteran staff and executives into quivering jelly. Exposure to one of their blog posts can apparently wreck hours and hours of expensive auditing.

Now, that’s power.

I recall being at the Int Base when Keith Henson was demonstrating outside. We went into total lockdown; no one could leave the buildings, go to meals, or even look out the windows. Apparently if we got so much as a glimpse of this super-villain, we would turn to cinders.

And it’s still that way. If any SP shows up at the Int Base, they go into lockdown mode, everyone – including many highly trained, long-term veteran Sea Org Members – huddled inside the buildings until the super-beings are safely gone.

And if a couple of masked Anons show up at an Org? Same drill. Everyone huddles inside, curtains drawn. If public have to come and go, they use a back-alley entrance. And they are told to never, never talk with them. One word from these super-beings, apparently, could fry you to dust.

And apparently the PTS/SP Course was to no avail. Despite being recompiled and reissued twice, with every Scientologist required to study and restudy how to “confront and shatter Suppression,” still, there is no one even confronting these powerful beings, let alone shattering them.

One of the things these SPs do, we are told, is reveal OT III materials to the uninitiated. We are told that being exposed to these OT III materials before you have paid for the level – excuse me – before you have prepared for the level, will cause horrible consequences. No doubt they are trying to avoid a repeat of the mass global panic, sickness and death that occurred after the airing of the South Park episode detailing the OT III materials. What’s that? I’m being told that there actually was no global panic or sickness or deaths following that episode. Hmm…

Regardless, I’m sure these powerful SPs have many more secret occult phrases they throw at you, or maybe they flash secret mystical symbols at you. Who knows? Best to be safe and just don’t talk with them or look at them.

If you have to deal with them, send a bunch of people. Never just one or two.  If you have to deal with, say, Mike Rinder, then send 8 or 10 people, and be sure to have all of them scream at him at the same time so he doesn’t have a chance to throw out one of those incredibly powerful, soul-destroying phrases that SPs are practiced in! Or if you have to deal with the St. Pete Times or CNN, send a whole crowd of people!  Safety in numbers!

And of course you must take any measures to isolate Scientologists from these powerful, evil beings. After all, Scientologists are fragile and require constant protection and coddling. Their delicate cases, tenuous gains and shaky beliefs can be blown away entirely with just a word or glance from these powerful beings.

Even your family and friends can suddenly turn into one of these hideous monsters. So best to check with the Church and see who is OK to contact and who isn’t, to avoid any accidental exposure that might send you spinning into hell.

Of course, some people may wonder what you have to do to gain such awesome power that you strike fear in the hearts of even the most powerful OTs, top Scientology executives and veteran Sea Org Members.

Apparently all you have to do is leave the Church.

    I LOLd.

Thanks for the refreshing look at the “PTS/SP Tech” – better seen as “Ostrich Tehc” when we protest.

I’ve had OT VIIs walk away from me quite agitated simply because I’m … well I’m THERE near them.

Gawd knows what I’ll do to them if I get a chance – probably chat socially to them?

You’ve brightened my morning – thanks, Jeff 😀

This might be viewed as satire, but it is the unvarnished truth.

Once we leave the church, we gain power over every Order,
Directive, Declare, or secret messages that the church cares to write about us.

We are no longer bound by the spectre of illegal Freeloader Debts or by the
slander that fills our SP declarations.

We observe and freely cognite while loyal churchies cringe and cower.
The empty threats to keep us off a mouldering bridge to nowhere
give rise to uncontrolled mirth amongst independents who know better.

While those inside the cult are frantically labeling all dissent as SUPPRESSIVE!
we calmly go on thinking for ourselves and looking for those inside who are still able to hear truth without freaking out.

We will win them over. The inevitability of it is no longer in doubt. Their labels will not hide the truth for much longer.

    Jeff,

    Again you da man!!!!

    Great article!!!!!

I think the reason Miscavige wants to present SPs as all powerful is because he’s one and he knows how weak and tenuous his position really is.

So he has to lift SPs (people who actually suppress and oppress others like Miscavige for example) up to the level of virtual godhood like himself.

All we need is a corollary here:

    SPs are all powerful.

    Miscavige is all powerful.

    Therefore Miscavige is an SP.

    Works for me 😉

But it’s not true. I really am an SP!

I once made one guy catch the flu, and he was in the hospital for a week. Once , in my writing class, I invalidated all of the other writers and a whole bunch of them got the sniffles. They didn’t show up the next day.

Satire? Sarcasm? Not so much when you consider what would have to be the mindset of a group that would go to those extremes because someone was standing outside their home and might utter some words that would be too awful to hear. What would have to be the state of mind for YOU to react in such a manner? That is the mindset of at least ONE person at the Int base in Hemet and he pushes that down the line to everyone there. All it does to most of the staff who then cannot do their jobs for sometimes half a day is make them more disaffected with the scene there. I know from personal experience. I was once almost prevented from going out for a Sunday morning run when berthing was a good 10 km from the base because there were protesters at the base. Malcolm Chisolm and someone else warned me not to go out but by the time they realized I had gone anyway, they had no chance to stop me. The amount of Dev-T generated at that base would stop a tsunami.

It’s not about “SPs” for David Miscavige. It’s about Information Control. “SPs” have always been people who disagreed and were willing to speak to other Scientologists about their disagreements.

There is no such thing as an”SP”, as described by L Ron Hubbard. There are evil people, yes, but none of those ever fit Hubbard’s descriptions of an SP.

“SP”s are an invention by L Ron Hubbard to solve one of his biggest problems throughout his tenure as “Founder”: the person who discovered or saw through his con and was willing to tell all the other paying customers.

That is what always caused the crash – even back to Witchita. And just like every other good totalitarian leader, Hubbard mixed Hitler’s “Jew”, Stalin’s “capitalist”, and Mao’s “spy”, all up in a bowl and plopped out “the Anti-Social Personality”.

No human being has ever fit those characteristics. They are a cartoon. And that is all.

      Except for me.

      *I* am the Real SP.

      And I’m gonna GITCHA!

  9. November 17, 2010 7:54 am

    Really cool post. Well captured.

One may wonder if some gains vanish under inspection. One better not look.

On the other hand, looking for real is the only way to real gains.

And that is where the church(ies) so thoroughly fail, they don’t dare to look, much less confront or communicate.

A few years later, when I saw footage of those people in that cult in Utah scurrying away from reporters, well that hit too close to home: that uncomfortable, flattened feeling of a truth running over one of my thought-stopper traffic cones.

One other thing I thought of: There was a guy who held the post of LRH Audio Visual assistant for some time in the late 70s, then got busted quite spectacularly. He was never ever to hold a post in A/V again, kind of a thing.

A few years later he routed out of the Sea Org, subsequently paid his debt and became a public person and was doing services, etc. Everything going alone fine. All of a sudden, he gets declared from an order from the Int base. This is a good 5 or more years since he had last stepped foot there.

Apparently, he was so powerful that his insidious false data, carefully implanted in all the staff that he had had contact with back then in A/V, had effectively stopped those staff from being able to do their jobs, years and years after he left.

He told me the story of this “unjust declare” quite a while ago and how it finally got canceled and set right. I thought at the time, how much [evil] beingness that whole episode had granted him. According to those that declared him SP, he had been able to defeat, with his powerful false data utterances, all the tools available to counter it such as study tech, false data stripping, product clearing, etc. for years!

I once had a conversation with my brother back in the 80’s when part of the OT3 materials had been printed (LA TIMES?) in a newspaper. After pointing out that nothing happened, no spontaneous combustion or rise of the Zombie Nation, he just clenched his jaw and changed the subject. That was 25 years ago and he’s still a Scientologist. I wonder what he reads though.

Actually, I remember reading some great LRH philosophy about this. It was something like “One could choose to exclude 50 % of one’s space to get it ‘cleaner’ (or something similair), but that would also mean that person is 50 % down in space.”

I think LRH talked about Blackness or similair. The article was really good (perhaps from some book or lecture, I read about it in a Scientology magazine). If anybody knows where to find it please share the source.

    Great article Jeff!

And so very true. I went to the first Anonymous protest outside London org in Feb 2008, not to protest but just as an observer. I was on my way ‘out’ of the CoS but not quite there, so I still had some sympathy towards Scientologists. When I saw all those protestors, mostly kids and not one OT super-being present to confront them, or even poke their head out of a window, I lost any respect that I might have had for the abilities of the ‘most ethical and able beings on the planet’. They claim to be the only ones who can salvage this sector of the galaxy, but instead of handling a few people who disagreed with them they were cowering behind locked doors and drawn blinds. Pathetic.

Probably the best thing for them to do, because when OTVIII, Class VI, George Baillie was confronted with one person (me) who simply asked him a few questions about what was really happening in his ‘church’, he couldn’t communicate in a civil manner and resorted to foul language and personal insults.

When I went to St Hill recently, I surprised one of the staff monitoring the protestors by the edge of the property and he literally ran away. Then, when I simply stood by the entrance, they slammed the gates shut and sent the waiting traffic via another exit just to avoid me.

    So much for superior ‘Tech’.

I’ve never heard of Alanzo doing that – so maybe he isn’t such a big SP. 😉

Great post – and so true! I was at the FBI raid in 1977. Totally different scenario. Even though the FBI men came in with chain saws, we were pretty much engaging with them – “Hey – how are you doing? What’s it feel like raiding a church?” No one was hiding.

I saw a video of some guy walking near the LA Complex, taunting people. Everyone was just not-ising the guy. Why? Stupid. Why not invite the guy in for a coffee?

In any event, great post. The only way you can be adversely affected by anyone, SP or otherwise, is to let them affect you. The fact that the CofM can’t see this is very telling.

        Nice straw man CO.

Your good at creating your own arguments.

BTW the people in the Church were not involved in GO 1361 and the FBI’s warrant was supposed to be limited to the GO offices.

But I guess that’s too limited of a concept for your generalized mind.

I suggest you read my post again including the words in it.

You’ll see that had nothing to do with the rightness or wrongness of the GO’s operation.

It just had to do with the fact that instead of cringing in the corner the staff and public were willing to engage with and communicate to the big bad “SPs” in the FBI.

      • brendon permalink

The people in the Church weren’t engaging and communicating with the mere wogs of the FBI, they were doing what Scientologists are prone to do: they were acting smugly, holier than thou, and blameless when their Church — and the GO was definitely part of the Church — had been caught red handed.
(Or do you subscribe to the unfounded “the GO had been infiltrated” BS line?)

As for the overbroad search, surely then all the Church attorneys got that unclean evidence thrown out… right?

Right and wrong is everything. Rather than be proud of anything, you should have been ashamed back then. But you weren’t because you were a Scientologist.

      “No one was hiding”

Hubbard was. He stayed hidden up to his death. Marty said it himself, in in the 80s, he worked toward shielding Hubbard against accountability.

      • November 19, 2010 10:40 pm

There’s a difference between being in seclusion and hiding.

Marty never said he was in hiding.

Christ if the FBI, IRS, CIA or whoever wanted Ron wanted him all they had to do was follow one of his messengers back to Creston.

Sure his location was secure but it wasn’t a big secret for anyone who wanted to find out where it was.

I knew myself and I wasn’t on any bigot list with a “need to know”.

Why do so many people gloat at the fact that the remaining members cringe away from protestors and believe that these harmless people have a negative influence on them? This is because they were conditioned to act this way. In Scientology “inability to confront” is not a bug, it’s a feature. During Hubbard’s reign there were no huge protests, members rarely had to deal with critics. The few that dared to protest were persecuted with the intent to ruin them utterly. These days the resources of the cult have dwindeled and the number of protestors has increased by several orders of magnitude. Since that makes it impossible to apply standard technology (destroying the critic), that only leaves the ostrich method. This is utterly contradictory of what people were promised Scientology would do for them, but to realise that requires the ability to think for oneself. And in Scientology “thinking for oneself” is not a feature, it’s a bug – but thank god there are de-bugging processes to address that issue.

    • November 20, 2010 12:16 am

      CO,

Your “explanation” such as it is, is completely contradictory.

      Also your statement

“In Scientology “inability to confront” is not a bug, it’s a feature.”

Shows your ignorance of the subject in general.

Since many of the drills namely the TRs were designed to increase an individuals confront.

Whether they do or did is not the point.

The fact is they exist as part of Scientology technology.

Also to assist your claim I suggest finding one relevant transcript from any lecture, article ever written by Hubbard that does so and post it here.

      Otherwise you’re just talking trash.

        Mind boggling.

The contradiction is not from Cool Observor, it is from Scientology.

The idea that, “they’ve been trained to confront, and they sure could if they chose to, because Scientology has a course for that” is hilarious.

I bet every exec in the room who told Jeff to “Get up! Don’t make the COB wrong” did those TR drills on how to confront.

      • November 20, 2010 3:06 pm

The way I see it, the TRs allow one to learn to accept *to be controlled*, and to learn *to control others*.

I don’t see any “confront”, as I define “confront” as the willingness to engage into exchanging ideas while sticking to intellectual honesty (meaning being ready to revise one’s own ideas). I don’t see any of this in the TRs.

Look at the TRs: The recurring theme is about doing what you are ordered without any questioning, or to get others to ultimately follow your orders no matter what. It’s actually a good *start* to explain the Church of Scientology’s success over the decades to have its staff members do what they are told no matter what, and its good-standing public members to be unquestioning of Scientology, Inc.

      • November 21, 2010 12:49 am

        RH

Obviously your view of TRs is different from mine.

First confront is as it is defined in the dictionary:

        confront |kənˈfrənt|
        verb [ trans. ]
meet (someone) face to face with hostile or argumentative intent : 300 policemen confronted an equal number of union supporters.
        • face up to and deal with (a problem or difficult situation) : we knew we couldn’t ignore the race issue and decided we’d confront it head on.
        • compel (someone) to face or consider something, esp. by way of accusation : Tricia confronted him with her suspicions.
        • (often be confronted) (of a problem, difficulty, etc.) present itself to (someone) so that dealing with it cannot be avoided : post-czarist Russia was confronted with a Ukrainian national movement.
        • (usu. be confronted) appear or be placed in front of (someone) so as to unsettle or threaten : we were confronted with pictures of moving skeletons.
ORIGIN mid 16th cent.: from French confronter, from medieval Latin confrontare, from Latin con- ‘with’ + frons, front- ‘face.’

Also the drills have nothing to do with blind obedience or unquestioning compliance to anything.

They are basically drills to familiarize a student with the ‘Communication Formula’ and give him practice in applying the ‘Communication Cycle’ as it is taught in Scientology.

However you can dress it up in any political ideology you want RH but it fits about as well as a dress would have on J Edgar Hoover when he was the cross dressing Director of the FBI.

      • November 21, 2010 1:18 pm

Re. “confront”, you’re right, I got my concepts confused. What I had in mind regarding the TRs is that they are part of the communication course, so it is claimed they teach people how to better communicate.

So replace “confront” in my comment above with “communication,” that’s more what I was trying to convey: the TRs do not train people to better communicate, they trained people to better be rigidly controlled and to better rigidly control others.

I didn’t need to learn the arduous task of Ls driven postulating, it required no tone 40 intention, no flying ash trays and no touching of disappearing walls of fire, all I had to whisper was “I left”, and within days my complete social network of scientologists lost their ability to communicate with me. Even the best trained registrars couldn’t do it anymore.

And on a wednesday night I can stay at home, pop some pop corn and watch a movie without any interruption. I no longer need a second telephone line, because I receive less phone calls now. Amazing.

I am still stunned by this ability to cause silence on a grand scale. You ask, whether I would like others to have the same wins as I have just had? You bet I do. Who needs a floating needle when he can be free.

      Jeff~~

Super Essay. Good and true insight to current conduct.

      TRUCKER :

Great post. Isn’t it wonderful not to be barraged with incessant unwanted phone calls ?
No matter what I did to get on their DO NOT CALL list, it was an avalanche….even after midnight !

      The CULT Motto is

He who hath paid $$$ once will pay again.$$$

The relentless urge to get the parishioner’s money is UNLIKE anything seen in any Church at any time, anywhere

They laughably call and name tag “Religious Hatred Extremists” on their malicious tabloid
      websites.

But they are “Religious Vulture/Vampire Extremists” with a fixation on sucking $$$$$$
out of the public at any cost even for outright fraudulent causes such as Library Scam, Ideal Org Scam, IAS Scam, Super Power Building Scam etc. etc. etc.

“Religious Hatred Extremists” are those that blow the whistle on their daily conduct.

The Religious Vulture/Vampire Extremists call Law Enforcement with manufactured sordid and salacious crimes made out of whole cloth “ANONYMOUSLY” of course.

These Black Ops /DIRTY TRICKS used to be done to Media Targets and authors and writers, now done to SO VETS who can quickly explain the conduct by sending them the

      OSA NETWORK SERIES

now available in Wikileaks. The Bible of how OSA Operates and how dirty they can get.
      Hey! Hey! Hey!

Morally and Ethically repugnant acts are OK !
      1st Amendment rights !!!!

    Hi Jeff,

Was wondering if you could post this on your blog in remembrance of the Jonestown massacre. Just saw it on marty’s blog and I think this thing should viral today.

It is strange how the church promotes “effect” when Scientology makes one more cause.

    Very good article.

I wonder how many OT VIIIs realize that they are, by remaining in Miscavology and obeying these orders, are losing their self-determinism and garnering more and more other-determinism?

Just what DM wants, of course. But oh-so-contrary to the founding tenets of Scientology.

“The goal of the auditor is to rehabilitate the self-determinism of his preclear, to bring back his hope and power, to get his preclear up to where the preclear, all of his own, KNOWS.” (Ref: Scientology 8-80, Chapter One)

    • November 19, 2010 2:36 am

      “I am not your auditor!”

How many times have you heard that one in a Church of Scientology?

The overwhelming majority of Scientology technology and policy is NOT devoted to raising anyone’s self-determinism. It is devoted to lowering your self determinism and to get you to follow orders without question. In Hubbard’s parlance, it is designed to make you “other-determined”.

The little bit of tech that is devoted to raising your self determinism is found in the beginning parts of recruitment and is rapidly substituted with other-determinism tech as you continue further into Scientology.

The PTS/SP technology is the most aberrative and other-determined technology in all of Scientology. People who study it and swallow it become wholly other-determined.

I think that was one of Jeff’s points.

And if not, it is my point.

      OOGA-BOOGA!!!

I think the major reason people are afraid to speak to and confront the people that have left the church is that they are afraid that they themselves will be shunned, sent to ethics and treated the same way. My major reasoning not to speak to a locally declared SP was being afraid of being seen speaking to him and called in for a “handling”. All the while I knew this person was a sweetheart,
never anything but a gentle, kind soul. Now we are communicating freely and I have no fear of this. But it took awhile to get over this feeling and it feels SOOOO GOOOOOOD. Thanks for this great post, Jeff. I think I’ll go use my super-powers to have a nice day with my family and friends !

DM cannot give interviews because he cannot admit to his violence and atrocities~~

    Beatings,
    Slamming heads against walls, desks.
    Punchings,
    Causing SLEEP deprivation.
Making execs live out in the fields with only a garden hose.
    Forcing others to punch others.
Making execs throw themselves into Ponds in November in England .(freezing)
Making Execs work in FECES ponds without Hazmat protection week after week.
Making Execs throw themselves into FECES ponds.
Mocking and humiliating staff members by reading off their confessed private
    masterbations and other confessed data.
    Other Drachonian punishments and abuse.

The media would confront him on the above.

    He can either

LIE (bad for him legally to be on record on video lying)
    or
    say YES, I did

which would make him the head of *TALIBAN SCIENTOLOGY* ~~a 21st century THUGGERY RELIGION waving 1st amendments rights to protect themselves of their BRUTALITY, KIDNAPS, LOCK DOWNS and 7 to 10 year RPF cycles.

      Right on, Karen,
literally impossible for that demented criminal punk to give interviews in public. He is ferociously hiding. He has to.
Or is it just “seclusion”? Since “not in a million years would the head of the fastest growing religion on earth” descend to give interviews for the lowly earth populace “to set the records straight”?

I never knew this was really true until last year when my niece told me that when she was at Flag on her Outer Org Training Program, the SP times articles hit and they were on lock down, meaning they had their lunch brought in for them, they weren’t allowed to go into public places.. this is what they were told.. I was like HUH?? Why not, she said they were told that protesters were gathering outside.. which was not true at all… they didn’t want them going into public places as they would be exposed to the SP Times articles…

Also Pat Harney, who I think is PR for OSA or something or other… anyways, she went around with the help of other cult members and bought up as many newspaper as she could from local stores… LOL.. I had to laugh when the person that went with her told me this… I

The lengths they go to ….unbelievable!!

Great post Jeff! I love the satire! we all need a good laugh and it helps to ease the pain (mental and financial) that was associated to belonging to this cult for so long.

My abilities as a super-being have finally been acknowledged. If only I had been declared years earlier… I would have been validated earlier for a lot less money!

I made this same point to myself when I was recently declared an SP by the Church of Squirrelogy. How could someone who has climbed to the top of the Bridge no longer speak to me because I went to a BBQ where Mike Rinder and Marty Rathbun were?

Ohh… because my attendance made me an SP! Yet, the week before I was best of friends with this person. It is really weird, because I could never do that just because some third party in the Church said so, especially without at least questioning my friend before I disconnected.

By disconnecting without asking questions for themselves, they have basically given all their control of who they can communicate to. And this is at the “top” of the Bridge.

I’m glad I woke up when I did!
